Rani Lakshmibai

Rani Lakshmi Bai, also known as the Queen of Jhansi, was a legendary warrior and a symbol of resistance during India’s First War of Independence in 1857. Born as Manikarnika in 1828, she married Maharaja Gangadhar Rao of Jhansi and became a fearless leader who fiercely defended her kingdom against British colonial forces.

Known for her courage, patriotism, and tactical brilliance, Rani Lakshmi Bai led her troops into battle, often fighting on horseback with a sword in hand. Her indomitable spirit and determination to protect her people made her an iconic figure in India’s struggle for freedom.
